1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or purchasing a course on The Hikma, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when registering. You may not share your account or transfer access to another person.
3. Course Access
Upon purchasing a course, you receive one year access to all course materials for personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, reproduce, or resell any course content. Free preview lessons are available to unenrolled users at the scholar's discretion.
4. Payments and Refunds
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are displayed in your selected currency. We offer a 14-day refund policy if you have watched less than 20% of a course. Contact us at support@thehikma.com to request a refund.
5. Scholar Conduct
Scholars on The Hikma are reviewed by our team and agree to maintain scholarly integrity and pastoral care in all content. Scholars receive 85% of course revenue; The Hikma retains 15% as a platform fee. Payouts are processed monthly via Stripe Connect.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the platform to harass other users, distribute harmful content, attempt unauthorised access to our systems, or violate any applicable laws. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All course content is owned by the respective scholar or The Hikma. The Hikma name, logo, and design are our intellectual property. Nothing on this platform grants you a licence to use our brand assets.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Hikma provides educational content for informational purposes only. Nothing on the platform constitutes professional legal, medical, or therapeutic advice. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes by email.
